Ang’s Top 10 Food Pics of 2023

I am so excited to share my favorite food pics from 2023! I love the amount of creativity that comes from playing in the kitchen! I especially love how a food pic can really make my recipe creations come to life. I am proud of so many of my recipe photos from this past year but I’m especially proud of these top 10 pics! Take a look and get the recipes below!

Chicken Sausage Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs

#10. These meatballs are sooo amazing and I love the way this pic captured just how D to the LISH they are! Give them a try soon and see why they are my favorite of all the meatball recipes I’ve developed!

Lavender Blueberry No Churn Ice Cream

#9. I absolutely loved this ice cream. Like, LOVED IT! I would sneak a cone everyday until it was gone! The combination of the tart, juicy blueberries with the smooth lavender was on another level! I love how this pic came together. It was fun to indulge in the leftover cones from the pic when I was finished shooting.

Spicy Lamb Naan Pizza

#8. I created this for a Saturday Dinners with Ang episode and it was PERFECTION! Have you ever used Naan to make yourself a pizza? If you haven’t, you’re missing out! I love the way the pomegranate seeds and fresh herbs make this photo pop!

Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls

#7. These eggrolls were on another level of D to the LISH! We made a meal out of them once I was finished shooting. I love the river of cheese running down the side of the eggroll mountain. I don’t think I could do that again if I tried! I snapped it as quick as I could to get it at the perfect time!

Dragonfruit Smoothie

#6. I had a vision in my head about how I wanted this pic to come together and it didn’t disappoint. I love how the fresh cut dragonfruit plays so nicely with the bright pink of the smoothie and the beautiful orchid in the pic. This pic makes me happy every time I see it. It also makes me crave a smoothie! This one is a definite must try!

Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass

#5. This pic just makes me smile! This captures the elegance of this amazing fish! I love how fresh flowers can bring any pic to life and the color of this purple is just perfection with the back drop and the African rice!

Pink Champagne Cupcakes

#4. I love how this pic came together. The soft, blush colors of pink with the bubbly, napkin backdrop and flowers are a perfect compliment to the decadent cupcakes. My mom made those beautiful, pink napkins for me while I was home over the summer so I could have more variety of colors in my food pics. It added the perfect touch to this pic. Thanks, Momđź’•

Minty Chewy Chocolate Chunk Cookies

#3. I will never forget staging this pic. I took a bunch of pics and I kept adding things to it as I went because I just wasn’t happy with what I was getting. My final finger snap moment, was the glass of milk behind the cookies. I mean, who doesn’t want a glass of milk with their cookies, am I right?! Once I got that placed, I was satisfied.

Crispy Gochujang Salmon Bites with Toasted Coconut & Scallion Rice Cakes

#2. One of my favorite photos I’ve taken is for sure this one. I love the colors in this pic and how it captured just how amazing this dinner was! It was my screen saver for the longest time until my #1 pic knocked it out of the way! LOL

Pomegranate Paloma

#1. This was by far, my most favorite photo I took this year! Not only was it one of the best cocktail creations I came up with, it also wins for best pic! I love the pomegranate arils with the grapefruit segments on the board to compliment the shaker and drinks. Carl and I thoroughly enjoyed having those cocktails post shoot that night!
