Top 10 Recipes on Repeat in 2023

As we approach the New Year, I wanted to reflect on this past year and all the yummy recipes that came out of the Saturday Dinners with Ang kitchen! I released quite a bit of content this past year and I’m very proud of the recipe box that I’m building here on SDWA. Some of you may wonder how many of these recipes do I actually remake? Well, wonder no more because I have decided to list my TOP 10 recipes that I continue to pull back out and make over and over because they are favorites of ours! You will find that my go to recipes are super easy, weeknight staples that anyone can throw together and have on the table fast! I am ranking my recipes in order from 10-1 with 1 being my most popular recipe on repeat in my kitchen this year! Let’s get started!

Greek Chicken Burgers

#10 needs no introduction! This is one of my most favorite burgers I’ve created. It’s healthy and loaded with so much goodness! Carl and I always welcome this burger any day of the week!

Strawberry Fields Salad with Blush Wine Vinaigrette & Spicy Candied Walnuts

#9 has to be one of my favorite salads EVER! This is my most popular salad I make when I entertain guests! It is seriously sooo good! If you haven’t tried it yet, put it on your must make list and DIVE IN!

Lemon & Thyme Poached Asparagus

#8 is my go to side anytime we have a juicy steak or chicken on the grill. You can’t go wrong with the simplicity of this super D to the LISH side dish! Get to poaching yourself a batch today!

Grapefruit & Thyme Soda Mocktail

#7 was on repeat a ton in my kitchen this past year! It’s normal for me to have some type of homemade simple syrup in the fridge and citrus in my bowl on the counter, so I take advantage of that marriage and make these very refreshing mocktails quite often!

Chipotle Turkey Skillet Chili

#6 is one of my absolute favorite weeknight recipes to make when I’m short on time but want something full of flavor and low in calories! With January approaching and the goal for a lot of us to get back on track with our health, this is a must try recipe!

Dragonfruit Smoothie

#5 is my favorite smoothie I developed this past year and I developed quite a few! This smoothie has everything you want when you have that craving for something sweet but don’t want to destroy your diet. Whip one of these up as a smoothie or thicken it with extra frozen banana and ice to double as a mock ice cream treat. Seriously! Try it! Even my mom loved them!

Giddy-up Guacamole with Baked Tajin Tortilla Chips

#4 is one of my favorite things to mash up in my kitchen! I love a good, chunky guacamole and this delivers in chunkiness and in flavor! Make your own homemade chips to go with it or grab your favorite bag from the store and schedule a happy hour with your friends because this is one bowl of goodness you’ll want to share!

Crunchy Peanut Asian Pork Bowls

#3 is my absolute favorite one pot meal to make any night of the week! Carl and I love this so much! Sometimes I’ll switch out the pork for ground chicken or turkey. You can’t go wrong with this easy recipe. It’s a perfect, affordable choice for take out night!

Smokey Chipotle Salsa

#2 is my go to, super easy blender salsa to whip up when we have company over or just want a quick, homemade salsa to pair with our chips. This salsa is on another level of flavor and I love to serve it warm. Grab your blender and give this one a try!

Instant Pot Chicken Pozole Soup

This is my #1 most made recipe in my kitchen this year! I’ve entertained with this! I’ve made it for lunch with my guac and salsa! I’ve served it for dinner with a nice southwest salad! It doesn’t matter where I’m eating it. It’s absolute PERFECTION! It has to be the easiest soup I’ve ever created and I just can’t get enough of it! You don’t need an Instant pot to make this soup but it comes together super quick if you have one! Try it today! It’s loaded with amazing flavors and a super healthy option for your upcoming January menus!
