Smokey Chipotle Salsa

Being in Texas, we have an array of Tex Mex to partake in. There are all types of different salsas, guacamole and queso to try. And believe me when I tell you, we take our Tex Mex VERY SERIOUS down here in Texas. I grew up loving salsa but only really having the jarred salsa that we all get from the grocery store. But, when I moved to Texas, I was introduced to some of the best salsa’s I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE! After years of frequenting multiple Tex Mex restaurants “studying” the best salsa’s, I landed on my favorite type. That is the smokey, slightly spicy, warm salsa’s. Have you ever had salsa served warm? Well my friends, you’re in for a treat with this concoction! The ingredient list is small and the flavor is HUGE! Grab your blender and whip up some of this D to the LISH Smokey Chipotle Salsa to pair with your favorite tortilla chips and Marg’s!

Notes

  • I like this salsa served both warm and cold so I offer it up both ways to my guests. You can’t go wrong! If you need to pull back on the heat, you can use 1/2 of the jalapeño. You can also remove the seeds in the jalapeño to reduce the heat as well
