Figgy Old Fashioned

I love coming up with new, unique ways to serve the classics! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Old Fashioned with the classic simple syrup and bitters, but there is something about introducing new flavors that really elevates this D to the LISH cocktail. I made a super easy honey fig simple syrup and used some black walnut and cardamom bitters to give it a nice kick! This cocktail can be served over a large ice cube or chill it and serve it up! Both ways are perfection. Garnish with a fresh fig and thyme sprig.
