Blood Orange & Thyme Spritzer Mocktail

I have really fallen in love with creating mocktails! They’re so fruity and refreshing! I came up with this spritzer because I needed to use up my blood oranges and I thought this was the perfect idea! It’s light, just enough citrus and super refreshing! The thyme compliments so nicely. This is the perfect mocktail for the patio on a warm spring day with some light snacks. Just you and your besties, catching up over spritzers. Enjoy!

Notes

  • To make this a cocktail, add 1.5 oz of Vodka
  • To make simple syrup, add 1 cup water with 1 cup of sugar over medium/high heat. Once water begins to simmer and sugar dissolves, remove from stove and cool. Place in the fridge for up to 2 weeks to use in your cocktail and mocktail beverages. *If you wanted to deepen the thyme flavor in this mocktail, you can add a handful of thyme sprigs to your simple syrup and steep it for 30 minutes while cooling to add even more depth of flavor.
