Double Chocolate Chunk Banana Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 All Purpose Flour

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Cocoa Powder

  • 1 1/2 tsp 1 1/2 Baking Powder

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Baking Soda

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Salt

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Melted Butter

  • 3/4 cup 3/4 Granulated Sugar

  • 1 1 Egg

  • 1 tsp 1 Vanilla

  • 3 3 Large Ripe Bananas

  • 1 cup 1 Chocolate Chunks

Directions

  • To begin, preheat oven to 350. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl
  • In another mixing bowl, add melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla and ripe, mashed bananas. Whisk well until batter is smooth
  • Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well. Fold in chocolate chunks
  • Scoop batter into a muffin pan filled with liners and place a few more chocolate chunks on top. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean

Notes

  • If you want a slightly less sweet muffin, reduce sugar to 1/2 cup.
