Batched Spiced Cranberry Margaritas

There is nothing better than a batch of cocktails! Especially when you’re hosting a big holiday dinner and don’t have the time to individually shake each persons drink! This is the perfect option to kick off your Thanksgiving dinner for your guests. You can build a cute margarita bar with some glasses and garnishes like orange wheels, lime wedges, fresh cranberries and mint! Have a plate with sugar and salt so your guests can rim their glass if they want. I prefer sugar in the raw for this cranberry margarita recipe. It’s the perfect combo with the tart cranberry flavor. You can mix this the day before and place in your fridge to chill for your big day! Just a few ingredients is all you need for a D to the LISH batch of goodness. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • *For Spiced Cranberry Simple Syrup*

  • 12 oz 12 Cranberries

  • 1 cup 1 Granulated Sugar

  • 2-3 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks

  • 3 3 Star Anise

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Whole Cloves

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Whole All Spice Berries

  • The peel of 1 orange

  • 2 cups 2 Water

  • *For the Batched Margaritas*

  • All of your Spiced Cranberry Simple Syrup

  • 2 cups 2 100% Pure Cranberry Juice

  • 1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 Silver Tequila

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Triple Sec

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice

  • Orange Wheels, Lime Wheels and Fresh Cranberries for Garnish

Directions

  • To start, make your simple syrup by adding all ingredients for syrup to a medium sauce pot. Simmer on medium/low until your berries burst and all flavors combine about 10-15 minutes. Strain your syrup and discard the leftover berries and spices, just keeping the syrup
  • In a pitcher, add all ingredients for your margaritas. Stir well
  • Add your fruit garnishes and chill until ready to serve
  • Set your margarita bar up prior to guests arriving by including garnishes, salt or sugar for the rim and ice
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • You may have some guests who want a stronger margarita…my suggestion is to include the bottle of tequila at your margarita bar and let your guests “stiffen” their drink if they’d like a bit more punch! LOL!
