I have always been the “grab the box of stovetop stuffing” girl. I’d like to add that there is NOTHING wrong with Stovetop stuffing. It comes in a variety of flavors and with the crack of the box and some water, you have yourself a comforting pile of yum in just a few minutes. I used to amp up the box with some sausage, fresh herbs, onions and celery. I decided that it was time for me to graduate to creating my own, homemade stuffing recipe. I have to say, this was my absolute favorite thing of all the sides we enjoyed on Thanksgiving. I love the different sizes of bread cubes I used. I also used two different types of bread. A rustic garlic loaf and a rosemary sourdough loaf. Both provided amazing flavor with the other additions in this D to the LISH stuffing. Put this on your Thanksgiving tables this year and your guests will definitely be coming back for seconds!
