Happy Oscars Day! Anyone who knows me, knows my favorite time of the year is award season! I love watching the actors get all gussied up, walk the red carpet and give those famous acceptance speeches that make everyone tear up. I have been known to throw some fun Oscar parties in the past and one of the things that I loved doing was building a popcorn bar for my guests to indulge in! It’s just like being at the movies with all the candy and snacks to munch on while we await our favorite actors fate. There are no rules with a popcorn bar except the obvious one…YOU HAVE TO HAVE POPCORN! I love to add some candy and other snacks as well as different popcorn varieties! Offer some cheesy popcorn and caramel corn to mix in. You can offer different flavors of salt or butter to add to the popcorn and let your guests create their own masterpiece! This is such a fun, interactive idea that you don’t need to limit it to just award season! You can bring it out for that fierce friends game night you have planned or your next family get together! Whenever you decide to plan it, I know everyone will be talking about how leveled up your snack game is!! ENJOY!
