Roses are red, violets are blue, buckle up, cause I’ve got the PERFECT TREAT FOR YOU!! This is the Michael Jordan of crispy treats my friends! I developed this recipe because I was strolling through the cereal aisle and saw a box of berry flavored Cheerios and I immediately thought how amazing they would be in a crispy treat format dipped in some chocolate! With Valentines day being tomorrow, I wanted to get this recipe out to you now, so you can make these yummy treats with the kids or to take to work and share with your co-workers. I’m not sure after having one bite that you will be thinking about wanting to share these beauties and that’s ok! I’m not here to judge. LOL! Happy Valentines Day! ❤️

Ingredients

  • 1 1 Bag mini marshmallows or 1/2 bag regular marshmallows(about 40)

  • 6 cups 6 Berry Flavored Cheerios

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Butter

  • 1 tsp 1 Vanilla

  • 1 1 Bag mini semi sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Coconut Oil

  • Non Stick Cooking Spray

Directions

  • To begin, measure out 6 cups of cheerios in a large bowl and set aside
  • In a medium sauce pot, melt 1/4 cup of butter and add marshmallows. On medium low heat, stir marshmallows until melted. Remove from heat and add vanilla
  • Pour marshmallow mixture over the cheerios and stir to combine
  • Spray a 13×9 pan with non stick cooking spray and add cheerios mixture. Press crispy treats into pan and let sit for one hour
  • Slice treats into 12 bars and set aside
  • Add chocolate chips to a measuring bowl and melt coconut oil in microwave for 1 minute. Add coconut oil to chocolate chips. Stir to combine. Place chocolate chips in microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave in 10 second increments until your chocolate is smooth
  • Dip a corner of your bars in the chocolate or drizzle your chocolate over your bars. The choice is yours! You can dip the whole thing if you wanted! You’re the boss of these bars!! LOL! Place bars in the fridge to set the chocolate for about 30 minutes and then….DIVE IN!

Notes

  • I used cooking spray on my fingertips to press the bars into the pan. It’s extremely sticky if you don’t. The cooking spray made the process much quicker and easier.
