Creamy Sausage and Gnocchi Skillet

This was one of my favorite dishes that I developed this year! It is sooo easy to make and loaded with so much flavor! This is a perfect weeknight, family style Italian dinner that everyone will love! Grab your favorite bottle of wine and ENJOY!

Creamy Sausage and Gnocchi Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1-2 TBSP 1-2 Butter

  • 1 lb 1 Italian Sausage

  • 8 oz 8 Mushrooms

  • 2-3 2-3 Cloves of garlic

  • 1 1 Onion

  • 1 tsp 1 Italian Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Red Pepper flake

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 White Wine

  • 1 cup 1 Heavy Cream

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Parmesan Cheese

  • 1 package 1 Gnocchi

  • Italian Parsley for garnish

Directions

  • In a skillet, heat butter and add diced onion. Saute until translucent
  • Add garlic and mushrooms with a pinch of salt. Saute for 3 minutes
  • Add sausage and seasonings. Once sausage is browned, add white wine and simmer for 3 minutes
  • Add heavy cream and parm cheese
  • Cook gnocchi according to package directions and once done, add to skillet.
  • Top with parsley and serve with bitter green salad and your favorite wine!
