Pimento Cheeseburger Sliders

Guys! I have your perfect party slider for Masters weekend! I had this idea because of the famous pimento cheese sandwich that Augusta National serves during the Masters. I thought it would be fun to elevate the original by adding a burger to it. These sliders were perfection! The seasoned beef with the spicy pimento cheese was a combo I didn’t know I needed in my life until now! They are so easy to make and would be the talk of your party! Give them a try and I promise, you will be making them on repeat!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 1 85% Lean Ground Beef

  • 16 oz 16 Pimento Cheese Spread

  • 12 12 Slider Rolls

  • Arugula for garnish

Directions

  • To begin, preheat flat top grill or oven to 375. Season burger meat with seasoning of choice. I like a teaspoon of Kinders “The Blend” seasoning which is just basic, SP&G
  • Using a small sheet tray, mine was a 1/4 size sheet tray, press burger meat in a flat rectangle
  • Bake for 12-13 minutes, until the internal temp reads 160. If grilling, remove the beef “slab” from the sheet tray and place on flat top grill by itself. Grill on each side until internal temp reaches 160
  • Pull from oven and place beef “slab” on a cutting board. Cut beef into 12 squares to fit on your slider rolls
  • To build sliders, layer arugula on bottom bun with a burger patty next, followed by a good sized scoop of pimento cheese. Pop on your top bun and DIVE IN!

Notes

  • I used store bought spicy pimento cheese from a local grocer who makes it homemade daily!
