Ingredients

  • *For the Steak*

  • 2 lbs 2 Thinly Sliced Sirloin

  • 2 Tbsp 2 Avocado Oil

  • 1 Tbsp 1 Arrowroot Starch or Corn Starch

  • S&P to Taste

  • *For the Sauce*

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce

  • 3 Tbsp 3 Rice Vinegar

  • 2 Tbsp 2 Honey

  • 2 tsp 2 Toasted Sesame Oil

  • 2 tsp 2 Ginger Paste or Minced Ginger

  • 2 2 Cloves of Garlic Minced

  • 1 tsp 1 Fish Sauce

  • *Remaining Ingredients*

  • 1 Tbsp 1 Arrowroot Starch + 2 Tbsp Water for slurry

  • 1 1 Yellow Onion Diced

  • 16 oz 16 Broccoli

  • Pinch of Red Pepper Flake

  • 2 Tbsp 2 Refined Sesame Oil for Frying

Directions

  • To begin, slice your sirloin into strips and place in a bowl with the arrowroot starch, avocado oil and S&P. Toss to coat. Allow to sit for 15 minutes before you stir fry.
  • Heat refined sesame oil in your skillet and add diced onion. Sauté until translucent then add beef strips. The beef cooks up quickly so make sure once it’s browned on either side, you add your broccoli and red pepper flake to sauté.
  • Combine all ingredients to make the sauce and add to skillet. Bring to simmer with lid on to steam your broccoli
  • Add arrowroot starch and water to make your slurry and add to skillet to thicken sauce as it simmers.
  • Serve with rice or noodles and finish with toasted sesame seeds and top with green onion
