The Last Word

This cocktail needs no introduction! It is a famous cocktail that was served during prohibition and made a big comeback in the early 2000’s when the cocktail craze came back with full force. I love the flavors in this cocktail. It is equal parts gin, green chartreuse, maraschino liqueur and lime juice, however, I am a sucker for a little more sweetness in this fella, so I throw in about a 1/4 to 1/2 more ounce of the maraschino liqueur. I won’t judge you if you do the same. LOL. It’s the perfect cocktail to offer your guests with some yummy appetizers during your next dinner party. I love hunting beautiful, vintage glasses at antique shops to serve cocktails like this in. It’s the perfect way to honor the history of this D to the LISH bevy. Enjoy!
