Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

Can you believe it’s that time of year again?! Where did this past year go?! I feel like I just gave you my picks from last year and here we are approaching Thanksgiving again. Time flies. This year, I have two picks and an old favorite that will probably always receive a shoutout every year! These two wines are the perfect choice for your Thanksgiving tables this year.

Villa Conchi Brut Rosé

I always love to enjoy a nice Rosé bubbly with a starter salad on Thanksgiving. It’s a nice palate cleanser to get you prepped for the big feast! Villa Conchi is a Cava Brut Rosé. What I love about Cava is that it’s made in the Champagne method and the wines are very similar to expensive bottles from that famed region in France but at a fraction of the price! This bottle was only 18.00 and it drinks like a bottle that would be 100+! It’s a fruity rosé with notes of sliced, ripe strawberries and candied lemons. It has a nice body with a creamy texture and finish. Don’t sleep on Cava! It’s a great choice to bring out for all of your special celebrations and dinner parties!

Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir

There is nothing I love more than a nice glass of Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley to pair with my turkey dinner and my second pick is a great choice this year. Domaine Drouhin is a fabulous winery that Carl and I have visited in Oregon. The 2022 vintage is graceful and fragrant, with cherry and raspberry notes with a hint of rose petal and spices. It’s the perfect choice to pair with your roast turkey and all those sides! You can pick up these bottles at a Total Wine near you! Enjoy!

I have an honorable mention that will always get a shoutout because this is the perfect Rosé for your Thanksgiving tables! It’s the cote des roses from Gérard Bertrand. You can find this wine on every shelf! It’s so accessible, even Wal-mart carries it. It is my go to for entertaining guests on this holiday as most all wine drinkers and non wine drinkers enjoy this wine. An extra plus is that the bottle is beautiful! It has a perfect rose shape on the bottom. This is a beautiful bottle to bring as a host gift if you are going to someone else’s home for dinner.
