Blood Orange Margarita

I love coming up with new ways to mix a yummy margarita! I had some blood oranges in my fruit basket that needed to be used up, so instead of just eating them for a snack, I decided to make a “liquid snack”! LOL! This turned out better than I expected! It’s perfectly tart and fruity and that salted rim adds that finishing touch! Grab some blood oranges and plan a date with your friends for some happy hour chips, salsa and margs because these, my friends, are D to the LISH!

Notes

  • To make this a mocktail, omit the tequila and triple sec. Add an addtl 1/2 ounce of lime juice, 2 more ounces of blood orange juice and top it with some orange sparkling water. That would be D to the LISH!
